37 1/2 weeks!!!

I took this picture when I was 37 1/2 weeks and now I am 38!!!  Getting closer everday!!!  As of yesterday, I am 50% effaced and 2cm dilated!  Looks like Emma will be here soon!  I am having a whoooooole lot of contractions all throughout the day along with pressure pain.  It's getting alot harder to move around and I'm very uncomfotable.  Emma is moving around great and Irby and I can feel her hiccup at least once a day!

We have the bags packed!  So as soon as I go into labor or my water breaks we are ready!  I am just hoping it doesn't happen while I'm teaching! 

Happy Valentine's Day! (29 1/2 Week Ultrasound)

The appt went really great!  Emma is as healthy as can be!  She is right on track to be an 8 pound baby and when they measured her femur and arm bone she is in the top 81st percentile because she is so long already!  I guess she takes after her mamma.... but hopefully not 24 inches long when she is born.  ;)
We couldn't get a good 4D picture of her face because she had her face against my placenta the whole time, so this picture above is the best and only picture.  Also, the funniest thing was that she kept opening her mouth and wiggling her tongue around.  It was sooo funny and cute. :)  This is our last ultrasound until we meet her in late April.  They said that because everything looks so great we don't need to come back.  Good news.... but I would like to see her again before April!

29 1/2 Weeks!

I'm am officially in my 3rd trimester now and I'm feeling really good!  Emma is really active ALL throughout the day and night.  She is especially fond of my left ribcage!  I guess she like the sound of my heart... I have no idea!  Tomorrow, Valentine's Day, we have another u/s so I will post the pictures of her.  Irby and I are so excited to see what she looks like and how much she has grown!  :)  Here are a couple pics of my baby bump.  We decided to show y'all a pic from the front which makes Irby laugh. :)

 

24 Week Baby Bump

IT'S A GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I know I haven't posted in a while!!!  I'm sorry!!!!  On December 14th we found out that we are having a Baby Girl!!!  She is perfectly healthy and doing great! My mom came with Irby and I to the ultrasound!  She kept covering her face during the ultrasound (she's a little shy) but we eventually got a picture of her precious face!  :) She also has really long, skinny legs.  They are adorable! 
Since she measured bigger than 20 weeks, they decided to move my due date back to the original date of April 27th.  We can't wait to meet her!!!

19 Weeks!!!

Time really flies!!!  I'm almost halfway done!  We are officially 19 weeks pregnant today!  Overall, I am feeling really great!  The Wednesday before Thanksgiving I felt our baby move for the first time.  We were very thankful for that.  :)  This Wednesday I have another follow up appt. with Dr. Divine.  And we are really anxious and excited because next Tuesday, December 14th, we find out what we are having!!!  :)

16 Weeks!!!

I had another checkup with Dr. Divine on Wednesday and the baby is doing great.  Irby and I heard the baby's heatbeat and it was around 140.  We changed the date to December 14th to find out if it's a girl/boy.  This week I have been feeling so much better... no nausea :).  I also have alot more energy so Irby and I are trying to go walking whenever we can.  I bought two new maternity shirts today!  :)
