Perfect Doctor's Visit!
Perfect! Irby and I were able to see the baby today! It has grown to 1 inch! You can see in the photos that the baby now has arms and legs... it no longer looks like a bean. The doctor showed us the brain, spinal cord, placenta and umbilical cord. The most amazing thing was seeing the baby move. It wiggled several times! :) Now the heartbeat is 170 beats per minute.

9 Week Bump!
So Irby had to point out that "the bean" is officially past my ribcage. I actually had to undo one of my jean buttons to eat all my food at Olive Garden on Sunday. (I think this is the only time in my life I will be glad when my jeans are getting a little tight). We are excited, especially since we have another ultrasound on Thursday. I will post the pics later Thursday. :)
8 Week Bump!
Sorry I didn't take a picture of week 7. I've been a little under the weather with all-day nausea! :( So here's a picture of the baby bump at week 8!

First Doctor's Appointment!
The appointment went really well. We found out that I might not be as far along as I thought. By measurements, they think that I am around 6 weeks 3 days. Here are a couple pictures along with the heartbeat. Irby thinks that the baby looks like a kidney bean, so I think we are calling it "the bean" for right now. :) The picture on the bottom is the baby and the heart rate.
First Belly Picture!
This one is for you Claire! :) Irby and I took this picture last night thinking that I was 7 weeks. However, after our first doctor's visit they think that I am 6 weeks 3 days today. Soooo... I guess we can call this picture 6 weeks pregnant instead of 7. :)

6 weeks today!
So I have decided to start a blog on our pregnancy because we are wayyyy out here in Lubbock while most of our friends and family are East. This way I can post pictures and keep everyone updated on how baby Baudouin is doing. :) We are soooo excited and thrilled about our upcoming new addition!
